Dexter Season 6 Episode 2: Once Upon a Time – He reminded me of the guy in the movie. The guy was actually good looking and the town sees him as person whom they can call when they needed a helping hand; had this nice smile every ladies get hooked yet beneath those angelic face is a dangerous man, a man who owns sharp knives and patterns he uses everytime he sees a person who catches his interest, just like how Dexter Morgan. Since childhood, Dexter has felt homicidal urges directed by an inner voice he calls “the Dark Passenger”; when that voice cannot be ignored, he “lets the Dark Passenger do the driving”. He abides by a moral code taught to him by his foster father, Harry Morgan, in which he only allows himself to kill people who are themselves murderers.
Dexter considers himself emotionally divorced from the rest of humanity; in his narration, he refers to “humans” as if he is not one himself. He makes frequent references to an internal feeling of emptiness and says he kills to feel alive. He claims to have no feelings or conscience, and that all of his emotional responses are part of a well-rehearsed act to conceal his true nature. He has no interest in romance; he considers his relationship with his girlfriend (and eventual wife) Rita Bennett to be part of his “disguise”.
Although throughout season, we have seen various cases that add spice on Dexter’s character. On Dexter season 5, the season focuses on how Dexter deals with his recent loss, coming to terms with the death of his wife while the current season may deals on Dexter’s new game, although I’m not really certain about those games but perhaps it had something to do with his sickness.

Summary: In order to solve the mysterious murders, Homicide asks for the help of Brother Sam, who Dexter knows used to be a serial killer. Debra has two proposals, one personal and one job-related.
