Glee Season 2
Remember how exciting the previous episode of Glee was? Did you find yourselves hooked at the rhythm of original songs? “Original Song” garnered mostly positive response. Critics praised the interaction between Kurt and Blaine as if they had sparks together, as well as most of the original songs in the episode. Mark Perigard of the Boston Herald called it a “great” episode filled with so many good moments. Cover versions of six songs were featured, including Raise Your Glass by Pink and Blackbird by The Beatles. The episode also featured an extensive selection of original songs, more so than any previous episode of Glee. The musical performances cover versions, and original songs in the episode were met with generally positive reviews from critics also. Todd VanDerWerff of The A.V. Club wrote that all of the originals songs were not bad. With the exception of Jesus Is My Friend and Only Child, all songs were released as singles available for digital download. Yey, it was a tornado like success which even the gleeks didn’t help their selves bit to cheer.
It was not just an episode which made the crowed hail; it was also an episode that shakes the television screens as well as the critics. That’s good hear, right? But the overwhelming feelings we have feel well get even more as the next account of the series promise not just a show stopper episode but as well as great guests like Gwyneth Paltrow as Holly Holliday, Dustin Goolsby (Cheyenne Jackson) and Charice Pempengco who will reprise their roles from the season’s first episode. Of course, the regular guests are still complete for their full performances. Glee season 2 episode 17 “A Night of Neglect” focus on Sue who tries to stop the New Direction after she learns that they are trying to help to raise funds for another underdog school club. She assembles several of the glee club’s antagonists—Dustin Goolsby (Cheyenne Jackson), director of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline, Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig), ex-wife of New Directions’ director Will (Matthew Morrison), and Sandy Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky), Will’s predecessor—to form what she calls a “Legion of Doom”.
Seems the lady of trouble is back to her old game again though I wonder if she can do better than what she had done before. I mean, she make a good plan for counter attack but in the end, it is her who losses the game. But that did not bother me most, what I’m looking forward for now is to hear the songs “Ain’t No Way”, “All by Myself” (which will be sing by Charice Pempengo), “I Follow Rivers” and “Turning Tables” which will be featured on this upcoming episode of Glee. For sure, this is another episode to look after and scenes to remember. Sounds exciting, what more if we see the whole excitement upon its release date, and oh, Mercedes gone diva while Rachel Berry had her own special part. That is one more thing we need to see, so buckle and wait for more.
